Dexter is regarded as one of the most gripping shows on television of all-time for most of its run. Most of its run indeed: fans of the show were left disappointed by the finale, in which the serial killer and main figure suddenly moved to a forest to become a lumberjack. Right. Even Michael C. Hall himself, the main actor, admitted several times that he wasn’t keen with the ending. We’re sure he managed to get over it pretty soon after taking home as much money as he did, though. Michael C. Hall was rewarded with a hefty salary of $830,000 per episode.
